>> small cap liquidity << Yes its a concern. A lot of smaller broker/dealers will not be able to compete and make markets. That will concentrate the business somewhat. I don't really understand why we need extended hours. I see no economic or social benefits. It seems more of an exchange competition issue. Its an interesting topic for me, I just finished a pretty good book on exchanges (What is an Exchange: Rubin Lee, Oxford Books), which also investigates those kinds of issues. Its very unclear as to the benefits and for small time investors like me it could very well lead to increased spreads (and thereby icreased transaction costs). Thure
