You are 100% correct. I called my PaineWebber cousin...as promised...and at 12:30 Pacific time I got a call from him about the Soundview comment on missing their quarter. As PaineWebber is a big fan of atml and has a strong buy rating on it, it will be interesting to see how this comment is rebutted, and how the institutions react in printed word. Anyone know a site where you can read EXactly what this guy said? Are you sure of his past ties with atml...where is he now...does he need to promote an atml rival, and thus need to degrade atml???? I guess I'm saying how will other analysts look at his comments.
