Frogs show up periodically in my dreams, the way dead kittens do. In great numbers and disgusting. But the moat wasn't in my dream; it's real! The Crandalls really do have a moat around their dining room table. They live in the most unique home I've ever seen. The front door opens directly into a HUGE open room, as big as a hotel lobby, with shiny marble floors.. On the left is the moat around the dining room table area and people regularly fall into it. I was there for a Jr Symphony League luncheon and someone fell in just after we were warned about it. At the end of this enormous room- is a shallow pool. It's just incredible. I couldn't have dreamed such a wonderful place. It's TOO different.
