Not to belabor the point, but let me try to dig myself out of the hole I created for myself.<g>

I just was stating the obvious fact that the damage was done only to the active OS while your BIOS was being updated. Which makes sense and basically answers my original question as to why the damage was limited to the one OS.

Off topic: What does (oem) mean as you used it in your reply?
