George: Good question....market sentiment has a lot to do with "fair price". To me the stock should be around 41-43/sh. going strickly by the numbers. This time next year??? In the 60's....I'll go out on the limb and say that within 3yrs 3com s/b around 80/sh.If a buyout occurs sometime this year she will probable get at least 28-30% above 52wk high ($51+ X 1.3 = $68/sh...if AT&T makes a bid it will probable be with shares...most likely 1 3/4 or 2 shares of T for every share of 3com at present share prices. Of course some are saying around 100-120/sh going on latest network mergers. I'll vote on that IMMEDIATELY! Stay focused and don't panic...3com will not go down cheaply! Keep in touch.
