Keith,
If you take your "theory" a step further -- over the past couple of days it has been more like 4.5 buys to each sell -- if I am not mistaken. A fairly common theory in the BB arena says that it takes three buys to overcome one sell. This is how the MMs make their money. They short a little and when they build up they run the stock on news or a large volume day. The oddity of the spreads throughout the days and the bizarre drop of the bid/ask yesterday toward the close are really hard to follow -- but you can bet someone (NITE perhaps?) is manipulating for their own advantage. It is not realistic to assume that some shareholders are not selling as well -- but it is obvious that the MMs are not going to pay much for the stock. I ran a quick TA on the stock -- though I put little weight on BB TA -- shows this stock blowing through this sluggishness very rapidly. A little FA would not hurt either! A Monday PR could send the MMs into a tailspin -- maybe, if we are lucky, an unrecoverable one.

My regards to Mr. Anderson and the stockholders. In a market as uncertain as this one, it is nice to have a stock like CVIA in my portfolio....I am not losing any sleep over it. The honesty and leadership exhibited by CVIA management on this thread is exemplary. I have accumulated 4K shares since the start of the year and am not even contemplating taking the sizable gains this investment has realized. I will continue to add to this position as the business strategy unfolds.

As a topic of discussion, take a look at the openipo site and post your thoughts about this business model wrt the plans for iposite:

openipo.com

I personally am intrigued by the ipo auction system that they present. Is this a model that has been contemplated for iposite? It might be worth considering. My gut feeling after spending some time reviewing the openipo web site was, "wow, how do I open a qualifying brokerage account".

Cheers,
Todd
