DJ, Yeah, but probably not until we get close to the September report. The key is, Oracle says they are not having Y2K problems. The last time I looked, Y2K was still six months away. They will have their day in the desert. <g> Also, this eps report has a whiff of eau de garbage about it.

Fwiw Oracle has the worst CFO in software, maybe tech in general now that Mason at Cpq is gone. Henley cannot, absolutely cannot manage earnings and with Oracles big ticket items you need to do that because one lost deal and you miss a qtr. Look at last q for Oracle, a total rout and this one a blowout, even though we are one qtr closer to y2k and nothing materially has changed for Oracle, the 8i product is gaining acceptance slowly but that isn't really hitting the bottom line. I doubt they can recreate these results next qtr and the final qtr of 1999 - forget it. Sorry for the tone I'm ex-Oracle and I'm tired of the incompetent management over there. Of course their pay is top-notch but nothing else is.
