Kap, "Today I walked in our local Office Depot and noticed that all of the Compaq and Toshiba laptops (AMD k6-2s) are missing. The sales guy told me that they are very popular and they have trouble keeping them in stock." This is absolutely true - AMD is doing great laptop biz. Unfortunately for AMD, this quarter laptops were the only high point in K6 shipments. Celeron has taken the lead in the desktop PC segment - next week when PC data comes out with numbers for May I expect a slip in AMD's desktop market share and gain in laptop market share. That's why the concern about barely making 5Mu this Q. Chuck
