Hi Mark, Been following this and other threads for a while now. (Just sorta de lurking for a bit...grin)... I think your call on market sentiment is right on. I've based most of my strategy of investing on these kinds of calls - market specific rather than issue specific - and I've been amazed at the results. So I've started following the market, instead of the issue specific trends. Consider, as someone who I respect considerably once said, equity prices are 80% determined by general market trends and 20% by specific company relevant trends. This is NOT to say that company specific news events do not take precedcence over the market trends, just that if one invests in good companies, with decent fundamentals, a majority of the time their prices are determined by what the market is going through....
