LOL!Actually, one's judgment about that could go either way. After all, it proves the editorial independence of corporate "siblings"; and it is often true that such denials are insincere, so the fabrication charge may be wrong; and although it is common procedure to get a comment from a principal in a situation like this, all that is really required is multiple sourcing. For a soft story like this, two sources would suffice, as long as there was reason to believe them. Still, it is a funny story, and one is not sure what to think...
