Re: "Micheal Dell should step down.. this guy lost his magic touch."

This much insight from a 3d grade education? Maybe you should
replace him.

Re: "go take some lessons from Mr. Ellison maybe he will teach you
how to turn a piece of crab into a shiny piece of gold."

I'm not sure what crabs has to do with anything, but last time I
checked, Dell is still ahead about $200M in earnings over the
last 12 months. Let's see, YOY revenue and earnings growth
for ORACLE now at 22% and 24% respectively whereas Dell's is
42% and 41%... what is it exactly Mr. Ellison needs to teach
Mr. Dell???

Yesterday, ORCL was 40% off it's yearly high, today Ellison is
a genius. You must have the attention span of a gnat.

Re: "If this guy have some business savvy in his head, he would
of got into the sub$1000 long time ago."

I think the stupidity of that statement stands on it's own merit.

Cheers...

Give it few more yrs..DELL's PROFIT MARGIN WILL BE DOWN TO 2%

Micheal Dell is going to need a miracle to turn things around. Sagging growth in asia & europe, oversaturated sub$1000 market, Brokerage house lining up to downgrade dell, Shorters waiting to take another bite on dell, Micheal Dell constant bull shit of revenue growth, shareholders dying to get out on any strong price movement, companies offering free PC all over the net, and etc.....

I have a feeling that Micheal Dell will be giving out free computer very soon maybe he will throw in a free t-shirt and a kit-kat to go with it. The way it looks Micheal Dell might have to offer annual dividend of 3% to stop people from selling his worthless dell shares.

DELL met wall street expectations this last quarter and was taken out to the woodshed anyway because the WS had an agenda not because DELL was not performing. DELL was revalued to a pure PEG basis without any premium. You are showing your lack of understanding of what is really going on.

Enuff said......

Goldbug, I am probably less optimistic about DELL's fortunes than about 99% of the people on this thread. But your post was absolutely absurd.

Yes, M Dell is not Ellison. DELL shareholders should be thankful. While Michael Dell certainly has made mistakes in the past, at least he hasn't cooked the books with false sales like Ellison has.

And your citation of ORCL's latest earnings announcement is equally absurd. Yes, ORCL beat estimates, and the stock soared. One of the biggest reasons why was that Ellison was meeting with analysts less than a month ago telling them that the quarter wasn't going well. If you look at ORCL's estimate trend over the past month, they were dropping. They were dropping because Ellison told analysts to drop them.

Michael Dell certainly isn't a saint. But compared to Larry Ellison, he's Yahweh Himself.
