If someone slandered and fraudulently accused you of some dastardly doing wouldn't you sue when the lies were so blatent?

What "blatant lies"? HITT doesn't specify, and I'm sorry, but you don't seem to know anything about the company. Sure we commented on the fact that HITT founder, majority shareholder, and "key person" Dorian Reed is a convicted felon who served 10 months in Federal prison camp in 1992, and who last year defaulted in a civil fraud suit brought against him by the FTC. All this has been documented.

Skip,

Put your self in their position. If someone slandered and fraudulently accused you of some dastardly doing wouldn't you sue when the lies were so blatent? There are laws against libel and slander.

Of course I would, depending on the lies and the damages that I thought they caused. Problem here is that the statements were true and the damages were basically HITTs stock price falling back to where it was prior to its pop up to $20. And HITT will really have to deal with Bloomberg on this, they published that story world wide that day. I still don't get these company's interest in their stock prices at this stage of the game. They should concentrate on doing what they said they were going to do, make a successful and profitable business, the stock price will follow accordingly. I guess if my company were to go public its stock would be very boring indeed. Of course I like speculating on this stuff as much as you guys.:)

good luck
