To me all one has to do is compare the tone, rather than the content, of your posts done on wednesday to those you have done in recent past. Even try and buy a new or used car and notice how confident and cool and smooth and pleasant and polite and carefully worded sentences and gestures he makes. Ok, now turn the tables on this salesperson by letting him know that not only do you know he is a phony, but most important, present to him that you are in control because you know how to prevent him from taking control of you. What do you now see ? answer = bile, hate, and a strong desire from him to "erase" you Its not so much the "bill of goods" thats important for him to sell you, but upfront he has to be able to end up the one who has the "say" as to how things are done. To him right and wrong, or good and bad, are not the issue, he needs to end up "the winner". Why ? Simple, it has to do with that fork in the road I mentioned in a prior post to you or Ron. When taken the path that guarantees success and being the winner one must simple follow that path as all those others have done that delivered those end results. What am I talking about, you ask Hutch ? More simple stuff, in that when one observes who are the winners on this planet earth some reconize this trait as being those who hold political and money power. On this planet earth whats the best way to the top for control and money ? Push the envelope of lies and double talk and knowing the right people and its ok to leave the envelope of law just so you don't get caught. Remember, just so you don't get caught breaking any codes, moral or legal, then you can present yourself as being clean and "for" law and order and morality. But heck, if you do get caught, deny it and hope it cannot be proven. Or settle out of court without admitting guilt. Ya, pay your way out with money and admit no wrong doing. Anyway, who know whats really real, you know, everyone does it to some degree, so heck its ok and anything goes, just so long another person did it before you AND got away with it. Or hey, if I don't do it then someone else will do it, so if its going to be done, then its ok for me to do it. You know, its not a question of moral code here since someone down the road wil do that questionable act. So it will happen, so what difference does it make if I do it, and if enough people do it, then hey it will automatically become "the way things are done", you know accepted because people will do them. blah blah blah ....... But heck Hutch if you don't want the above reply as the answer, then click NEXT and read my very short reply to Ron. 2 peas in a pod, the same. Doug

Hutch, <<Ron and I fulfill a need, balance. >> Why do you and Ron feel compelled to provide that "balance" on this thread? 1) It is clear to anybody that posts here that most are pro-gold and hold different values than you and Ron. 2) We have listened to Ron tell us time and time again why he believes gold is a relic .... that's fine too. 3) It is clear we hold different value judgements on what gold represents. 4) We (pro-gold) may be completely wrong - that's our prerogative and we will pay for it. My question is simple. S/I would certainly have no objection to you and/or Ron starting your own thread .... I'll even give it a name for you: "Why Gold is a Relic - The Ron and Hutch Dogma." Those who wanted to listen to you, are free to go there. Those that do not, can stay here or the GPM. Seems like a simple solution to me .... I can not help but wonder, why Ron in particular seems to reluctant to do so. Do not tell me you have the right to do this or that ... we all have rights in the free world - but whether or not it is good judgement to necessarily exercise them is a different question. So .... provide your balance - but why not do it on another thread and get rid of the antagonism here and the GPM. MB
