Paul, If the area is dirty and they trust the goods sealed in the pod to stay clean during that transit that means they have a high level of trust in the pod method to keep the wafers from contaminents. It seems like a logical dveelopment to me to allow a cheaper and more efficient workplace. Those PODS can be shipped to anywhere for whatever stage in processing and as long as the cleanliness is maintained this is excellent. If you say all the pods are full of ghrit and they ruin half the wafers trsuted to them....say it.
Any method like the described POD that allows the goods to be podded and then transitted to other areas through unclean zones will eliminate the need to make those zones clean. That will save money and save people's time in high clean zones?
Seems logical to me and others, but not to you?
Have you ever worked in this industry?, or just heckled those that do?
