Bill; In this context normal would be for the NDX to fill it's gap
, in fact since the start of the QQQ it has filled all gaps.
If it don't this will be the first one.
Stocks don't always fill gaps but I haven't found any Indexes
that don't.
Hell we have gaps on the SPX MID DOW & NDX, this also
puts a lot of call money in the money, now I wonder if they are
going to let the stocks get called or shell out the dough.
At any rate the options moved to a point that there should be some selling pressure today or tomorrow.
So far this am in Frankfurt intc, csco, wcom, ibm, aol & cpq
are all down slightly from our close ( currency converted )average
is off 1/2.
MSFT is up 9/16.

HI Bill; By the way when it comes to the market "normal"
and also internut stocks, lets remember "normal" is not
always sane.

The nut's like any tulips show the degree of insanity, and
for the time being sort of lead the market up and down.

It's not that they have that much of the market , but that they
show the enthusiasm of J6P , and while they have done a bounce
they have not broken their down trend line as of yet.

For now they do represent what's normal, & normal don't have to
make sense. <G>
Market mania is as good as the most manic part of the
market if it fails then the market follows.
