Conclusion: Party is just getting started with DELL and GTW

CPQ has imploded this morning--they have preannounced the loss everyone thought was coming. Good news for DELL (a competitor is having major problems), but also bad news for DELL (pricing may get more aggressive as CPQ tries to grab back market share). Trading in DELL should be interesting today.

>>part of the falling prices are absorbed by the OEM's that
supply Dell. They are simply passing on the savings to the consumer. So as
long as they can increase sales faster or close to the same rates that they
are lowering margins, the Direct sellers of PC's will continue to prosper.
They will prosper by capturing new entrants into the PC market, and by
capturing market share from the Channel sales folks.<<

Frank Your post was excellent and makes a lot of sense. You also have a lot of professionalism and class. Thanks for spending so much time and research on your comment. It is much appreciated. You should be on the Dell advisory board.

Best Regards to You and all shareholders of Dell
