Nice big add in the journal today for the Gateway Profile comuputer:

"Presenting the Gateway Profile for business."

Note the "for business."

I'm looking but I can't find the little "Intel Inside" logo.

Kevin

<So, worst case Q2 production is 21k (ie 3*200*140*.25), best case production is 105k. Mid-point is 65k.)

Yougang: Shane's estimates seem reasonable to me. The key assumptions IMHO are allocation of the 5000 wafers/week (5%,10%,?) and yield. Similiar assumptions lead to 300K-1M in Q3. Hopefully .18 micron will kick in to help Q4 volume. I believe AMD
has suggested 1M K7 for 1999 was a reasonable guess.
