Hello Brian. It looks like the same old story. Somebody warns and Intel gets the shaft. CPQ was down almost 2 this morning but has recovered. More than we can say for Intel. Funny stuff analysts are doing to Intel. Sunw can be light years behind but no, not Intel. gg.

I have been watching the Greenspan speak. It looks like we are getting a 25 basis point rate hike or none. Greenspan was fairly clear in his speech this morning but left me in left field with his reason on why we may have to raise the rate a bit. Sees NO inflation but it COULD happen down the road because of a tight labor market. Same old story here too. I don't know why he still thinks that employment is bad for the economy. I know. Wage pressures and blah, blah. But give me a break. He was pretty unsure of what may happen in this new environment but wants to stave of inflation further down the road. Duh. Okay, the bond market seems to like it. And the trade deficit narrowed. That WAS a surprise to me.
