I plan to put on a position that combines both the bonds and the stock. Although I have not thought about it much, there is probably a trade that combines options, stock and bonds into a high return low to limited risk position. Still waiting for lower prices to buy in. If Motorola does announce something radical in relation to the Iridium service plan or new offerings, it will likely take a toll on Globalstar.

Would QCOM or Loral actually back these bonds? If institutional investors thought they would, I doubt that the bonds would be discounted 35%. Good idea though...I have asked my broker to research this and advise.

Thanks for the Idea
