I applaud your technique, jk. Some people expect you to believe they can accurately forecast the future, and expect you to heed (and sometimes pay for) their guesses. These con men call themselves Analysts, and are responsible for the financial demise of many misguided fools. People that use food products can literally eat their words - or in your case drink them - if they miss their targets.

Thanks for the light hearted post. I'll second your prediction of 149 15/16 <g>.

Califik:

Just in way of clarification, do you use Kenyan or Jamaican beans?
Coarse or fine ground? and drip or press maker?

Gee, there seems to be any number of complications for coffee grounds, I wont even go into the tea leave possibilities!

Any guesses as to the flavor of the market's response on this supposedly quite day before a triple witching Friday?

califjk--Reminds me of a German friend of mine. Not always right, but always positive and certain.

You're looking verrrry good, Cal. I've tried to replicate your forecast using fresh ground Kona coffee and Earl Gray tea, and I was up all night with a terrific caffine high <yawn>. Does de-caf work for fortune tel... errr, valuation projections <g>?
