Andreas: Of course you are right - those words could mean anything and I am no longer going to say that they would not try to hide it by failing to mention it explicitly. If inventory is the problem then Kumar will have to change his opinion again.

Not necessarily. If CPQ has indeed gotten a handle on TTM [Time To Market] inventory should be leaner than before. It is possible that it simply didn't churn out as many boxes. Still, (1) and (2) really mean both top and bottom lines are lousy.
