The ban violates cultural autonomy. It will be challenged under the First Amendment (free exercise of religion) and 14th Amendment. The Supreme will accept it if it is uniformly applied to everyone, not just certain religions.

I would think so, yes. It amazed me what a battle it was. I'll look some things up on it. The woman (and other supporters) were very determined and faced an uphill fight. It was presented by others as falling under "religious freedom". It's a dangerous, mutilating procedure. It makes a life-altering, life-long decision for a child that should be their's to make when they are of age. How absolutely scary to think a woman might have an orgasm.
