Intraware and PeopleSoft Sign Electronic Software Delivery and SubscriptionManagement Agreement
Intraware to Provide Software and Updates for Entire PeopleSoft Product Line
in Phased Customer Implementation
ORINDA, Calif., June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Intraware, Inc. (Nasdaq: ITRA), a leading provider of Internet-based services to IT professionals, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with PeopleSoft (Nasdaq: PSFT) to provide the Intraware SubscribNet service for electronic software delivery (ESD) and proactive software update and management services for PeopleSoft's entire product line.
PeopleSoft will be working with Intraware to develop a phased implementation plan to provide Intraware's e-services to its customers worldwide. Recognizing the opportunity to substantially reduce global software distribution costs, PeopleSoft will leverage SubscribNet to deliver new value-added customer services that include proactive, customized e-mail notification of critical software release information and secure, online access to each new software release. In addition, SubscribNet will provide PeopleSoft customers, for the first time, with a customized website that enables centralized administration of all enterprise licenses within an organization.
