The SPX chart is pretty similar to mid-Feb to early-March....

j.o., as far as i can see sentiment indicators are mixed and not excessively bullish; a continuation of the upmove would certainly remedy that. also, yesterday's move was too impressive for a fluke. a positive reaction to a benign CPI was to be expected, but i was looking for the market to weaken during the day if the short term bearish case was to be kept alive. we will see how the market handles AG today; so far it seems that his testimony will be ignored by the market, and that's another short term bullish sign.
