Its 4 am HST. I usually open with the market (3:30 AM HST), trade a little if the wind is right, walk down and get the newspaper and look at the city sparkling below and the clouds swept by the trade winds, drink a V-8, exercise on a machine, wrestle with the dog, wash my hands, eat breakfast (ice cold papaya with strawberries) with my wife, bathe, go teach an undergraduate management class from 7:30-8:45, come back and close the market. Take a nap. Work on my book. Drink a mango smoothie for lunch. Take a nap. Go teach my evening graduate strategy class (3.5 hours) TTh. Come back, exhilarated from teaching. Eat a light dinner of salad or vegetables. Write my friends and enemies on SI. Watch the news on TV. Fall asleep. Wake up for the market. This goes on 5 days a week. I live for weekends -- sleep right through them, usually. I think it is the best life I have ever had. I hope it lasts a long time.
