Bob:

My take on the 25K buy order is that when the client confirmed the order with the MM, there wasn't enough shares in his inventory to meet that Buy-order. By the same token, the MM could not take the price down to shake the weak hands because it looked like there was consistent buying right from the opening. So for once (and I hope it is only the beginning), the MM was forced to go into the open market and buy the shares to meet that Buy-order.

So far so good. It is very important to close above $69 1/2 which has been the overhead resistance. The next resistance is sitting right around the $82 range, which is the more critical one. Good Luck.

No suckers. Pretty good price if you ask me.

The Goldman Saks conference may be contributing to the recent strength. There was a rumor that GS might be initiating coverage of Sepracor in the near future. I think it is likely and that it will be the news that moves SEPR back above the 200 day moving average and into the 80s.

Just a guess.
