Durable Goods Orders for May = +1.4%

New orders for manufactured durable goods in May increased $2.8 billion or 1.4 percent to $197.6 billion, the Department of Commerce, Bureau of the Census reported today.

Weekly Jobless Claims = +3k to 302k

In the week ending June 19, the advance figure for seasonally adjusted initial claims was 302,000, an increase of 3,000 from the previous week's revised figure of 299,000. The 4-week moving average was 309,250, an increase of 250 from the previous week's revised average of 309,000.
