World Wide Wireless Communications Announces Execution of Eight Leases Under Its Agreement With Shekinah Network SAN FRANCISCO, June 17 /PRNewswire/ -- World Wide Wireless Communications, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WLGS) announced today that pursuant to the provisions of its previously announced agreement with Shekinah Network, the companies have initiated leases for Instructional Television Fixed Services (ITFS) excess airtime capacity. These lease agreements cover eight locations including Ukiah, California; Aspen and Vail, Colorado; Key West, Florida and Grand Rapids, Michigan, among others. Douglas P. Haffer, President and CEO of World Wide Wireless Communications stated, "The Company will now begin building out its domestic wireless internet system. This represents a tremendous leap towards accomplishing our previously stated goal of establishing a new location every quarter. Our first full revenue service will be offered in Concord, California just east of San Francisco, a license which is not covered by the Shekinah Agreement." In addition to the Multi-port Distribution Systems (MDS) Licenses controlled by the Company in San Diego County, California and South Bend, Indiana, World Wide Wireless Communications now controls sufficient MDS licenses to initiate operations in nearly a dozen locations over the next several years. The Company continues its efforts to acquire new domestic spectrum and expects to increase its build out schedule over the next twelve months. In other news, Mr. Haffer and Mr. Dana Miller, V.P. and Director of Licensing and System Expansion, are continuing their negotiations with representatives of Czechinvest, the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications as well as the Czech Telecommunications Office in Prague. Mr. Haffer stated, "We remain impressed with the potential for high speed wireless Internet operations in Central Europe. As Management expects a significant part of its growth to occur in the international arena, we are seeking to aggressively expand into the European marketplace while we keep our sights on the global horizon." After Prague, the representatives of World Wide Wireless Communications will travel to Germany and Portugal for additional discussions relating to its expansion into Europe.
