Yes,

As usual, the market does the opposite of what you suspect. My guess is with the ^Soxx taking off and the lure of a summer rally, it was viewed as a good time to buy into VECO at a bit cheaper price.

I am still not sure of the market and basically selling covered calls at $5 strike price increases as the stock moves up to an ATM condition. It is expensive commission wise, but I may be buying a new house soon and need to remain somewhat conservative and also raise some cash for the Fall crash of 1999 (VBG)
