Seattle, June 17 (Bloomberg) -- Price targets that were raised as Internet stocks like Amazon.com Inc. and America Online Inc. recently rose may now be too high, the Wall Street Journal said. Some Internet stocks are more than 50 percent below the highs set earlier this year, making price targets like $275 for ebay Inc., which closed yesterday at 148 3/4, hard to reach. Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown analyst Shaun Andrikopoulos said price targets are ''arbitrary,'' while Raymond James analyst Richard Bove said the price targets ''don't mean a whole hell of a lot,'' the paper reported.

The Bloomberg U.S. Internet Index, which is comprised of U.S. Internet companies with a market value of more than $250 million, is up 47 percent so far this year.
