George, I believe that 20 or 40 MB per image is bulky and cumbersome. Also, this level of detail is clearly not needed for consumer applications where images in the range of 500KB or less are exceptional and 1 to 5 MB files are outstanding (actually overkill). I think Foveon will be entering into a mature digital camera market by the time their technology is ready for prime time. This is assuming it can be scaled down to such applications in an affordable manner. Mead suggests this is not a business goal currently. BTW... Where do you get the GG newsletter and how much does it cost? Ausdauer
