Hutch, We have different value systems. You think risk can be minimized by paper, I do not ... at the end of the day, _if the sh*t hits the fan, your paper shield is going to go up in smoke. This is all about control - as long as the CB's and others can maintain control, gold will be marginalized as an investment. It is in their interest to do so. But, in the event they can not maintain control, your paper shield, IMHO, will be worthless. That's what all this boils down to ... it's really quite simple .... much simpler than all the models and T/A you employ ..... it's just a basic difference in what = protection. Why you and Ron have such a big problem with that, I'll never know .... but in the end, I do not care either. Take care, MB
