I agree with you here. I moved most of my DATEK assets to DLJDirect recently. Haven't had any problems with them and they offer options, checks, debit cards (if you have over $10,000) in account. Of course their commissions are higher $20.00 vs $9.99 at DATEK, but the service has been much better.
