Steeny, 3 days of buying included
a) a wrongly premised fall on higher interest rates,
b) the biggest rise on the Naz
c)a convulsive 7 point increase on AOL price indicating some folks are wetting their pants.
d) AL G telling me he is not very worried.d)CPQ is a non-issue. They have bad management,

TA, reading the tea leaves

and, definitely have to go now. Let's talk later,

Don't forget Compaq's warnings. I get the feeling AOL will not have great #s. 2nd
quarter has often been weak for techs. This shouldn't bother u since U don't buy
AOL based on earnings. On macros, 25 bps is factored in for most part. I also
thought the bias change was factored in last time and I was dead wrong.
You are very convinced that the bulltrend has reasserted itself based on 3 days of
buying. I'm just not that convinced...yet.

Uh, but that is Compaq. Compaq.
Compare Compaq to Dell.
Is Compaq like AOL?
