Questions first...then survey.

1) Amazed at the non-existant presentment numbers
from CKFR or anyone else for that matter .. considering
that everyone seems to be 'paying' bills thru CKFR ..
So, does that mean that most of you/us are getting bills
via snail mail
( hope not ) or going to biller sites or
something else ??

Yup...and I (hope so)

...See e-presentment is the promise of the future and where CheckFree is leading the market...BUT the fact is most of the presentments we all do still receive are by paper. That is why CheckFree has overwhelming appeal... with Pay Anybody

...we get most bills by mail...key in the amount under a pre-established vendor account we set up a year ago say, push to pay and bingo..it's over.

The payment is then routed either electronically on the day we chouse to pay our billing vendor if they can accept an electronic payment, or mailed snail by to CheckFree by that date if they cann't.

So pay anyone is critical and adds one more step...ie the user has to supply the amount being remitted manually. Under an electronically delivered billing...you just push pay the amount is already there.

But the overall function is similar...and I can even initiate an electronic payment to my local Dentist this way....he sent my check back though cause I paid him twice on purpose. It answered the question as to who gets the check float being bantered about here a month or so ago....answer I do...ie those were my NetB@nk account numbers on the bottom of the check and it's never cleared the Bank, nor will it...I'll frame it as an Antique.

2) Also for those 46% who pay a third party a monthly
fee for their bill pay service .. Do we know how those
fees are shared with CKFR ??

That's how CheckFree makes their Money.

Survey...

1) How many CKFR 'bill presentments' do you receive
each month? ...

2

2) How many non-CKFR 'bill presentments' do you receive
each month? and who is the 'presenter' ...

ZERO...unless you inclued postal presentment..then it's all but 2.

3) How many CKFR 'e-bills' do you pay each month?

2 per month same as 1)

4) How many non-CKFR 'e-bills' do you pay each month?

All the rest which have been presented postally.

5) What do you pay for the service if anything ?

9.95 directly to checkfree for 3 accounts
