Glenn,

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and thoroughness in evaluating our company. I was wondering if you will drop those Borders and Barnes catalogues now.

We at Amazon will continue to run as fast as we can, but we have no other guarantees other than our dedication to customer service.

Sincerely,

Jeff Bezos

Glenn did you notice ivillage is up 13% today. Personally I don't really like ivil because I think women.com is stronger - however, I think ivil is just in a follow-on sector like dclk was last year and thats why it doesn't move on the day-1 of big internet advances.... I don't think its a real dog like tscm.

I think you can use stocks like ivil to play profitably... yesterday it lagged, you might miss the top tier runup, but you know ivil will follow eventually so just buy in, wait a few days and sell. I will definitely do that when women.com comes out which will also spur ivil and help in validating the space I think.
