kash - <Now tell us more why Intel has the worlds slowest 0.18 micron process>

I believe Intel has one of the worlds only running .18 processes at the moment.

Due to the recent announcement about Coppermine delay, I expect to be a sitting duck target. Of course, I will probably just have to take it, as I won't be able to provide any more detail than Intel press releases. Which is frustrating. Particularly the correlation between the Dixon QS and the Coppermine. There are leaps in logic going on here that ostensibly seem plausible, but in fact are not entirely accurate. Anyway, fire when ready. I've got my flak jacket on.

Krash,

Re: "Suffice it to say all wafer foundries such as TSMC, UMC, CSM offer
dual gate options on their deep sub-micron processess."

I don't think I ever said that these companies didn't offer a "dual gate"
process technology, Krash ... Just that some designers can get around
the need for it with circuit design techniques. Krash, please try to
stay "civil", TIA

Make It So,
Yousef
