Yes I looked at the Eidos revenues and had to admit they were pretty good too but that combines all their games on all (console & PC) platforms.

My argument was based on a PC game by game scenario and illustrates (I hope) what an uphill battle it is to get into game development. Publishing might be a better bet.

I hadn't considered 3dfx to go into console games because they don't sell console hardware. I'm under the impression that most PC games don't cross over to consoles, although some do. The traffic is more from console to PC.

Are 3dfx looking at the console market, do you think? If so would that be hardware too?
