i worked with the tms320c20/50 a few years back at eg&g astrophysics to detect bombs. very interesting, but glad to be away from those x-rays.

Thanks, John. I'd been wondering, too, how RDRAM might play
in DSP-driven architectures. Just don't have any real insights
at the moment, but find that angle interesting to consider...

People should recognize how many DSPs are in product these days.
It's a potential market driver for RDRAM,
if there's an architectural fit.
Not all DSP-based product
implementations run from internal memories
(as the one John mentioned).
