<< IMO most businesses will look at function and cost before fashion.>>

Yep, DELL is gaining a "cult following" in the business sector. I know of a number of Fortune 1000 companies that have switched from CPQ or IBM to DELL (for all their PCs, laptops, and servers). The DELL Direct Relationship is tough to beat.

IMO, DELL will also gain a "cult following" of higher end consumers. MSD and Kevin Rollins have said to watch that space in the next few months. DELL has strong growth and is very profitable in their consumer business. I expect DELL to offer some new consumer products and services in the next 6 months. Stay tuned.

Businesses and Consumers like to Buy from a Winner. DELL products and marketing relationships are better by design...!!

Best Regards,

Scott

It's not just fashion, Frank. $2K is reasonable for a computer w/ that speed and power...and it clears up a lot of desk space, which is "function"--
