I've met a few "wilting lettuce leaf" vegetarians in my day, but most of them seemed to be into the "dieting into oblivion" thing.... Hmmmph!!

In my own experience, most "serious vegetarians" (for lack of a better term), seem to be fairly active and healthy. I've met a lot of athletes, dancers, etc... who are vegetarians to different degrees. Many of them avoid sugar, junk food, fats, and food additives as part of their nutritional lifestyle. I don't really have anything against meat, but I've never liked it and I don't feel that I need it. I'd much rather munch on a nice big piece of baked Hubbard squash than a slice of roast pork any old day... <g>
