Steeny your oversight on the weak CPQ prices being good to AOL is a major investment mistake and as such you should review your whole investment approach to AOL.
AOL everywhere is the foundation of AOL's marketing strategy.
They will develop a system wereby you can essentially take it with you everywhere you go along with all the important personal data.
AOL will give out a blue chip system to the consumer for e-commerce including free PCs. If ATT has to pay for Media one, here will the money to pay for free PCs come from?

TA

Good points. I didn't think about the last part--falling computer prices good for
internet. It may be that CPQ earnings aren't important, but it is a major tech firm.
These earnings often come in clusters. If they have weak earnings partly because of
slowing demand, there could be trouble ahead. I could be wrong. May have no
impact on AOL-just a possibility.

Mr. Steeny,

It may be that CPQ earnings aren't important, but it is a major tech firm.

I believe that CPQ was up today. I have to agree somewhat with TA about CPQ. I think people have lower expectations with CPQ since early 1999 because of their poor management.

Thank You
