This is "old hat" for many of you, probably, but following the experts on the "Last Mile" thread, in my limited way, I've come to understand that a bottleneck can be created: take one area (suburban area, apartment complex, etc.), cable comes to area and then is connected to the individual customer from that central location. The more people hooked up, the slower. For instance, every customer in ABC apartments is watching the Super Bowl, using their different camera angles, and it slows down. I prefer to believe Larry Kagan on technological upgrades, but at the same time, the new goodies will come so fast and furious that it will create problems.
