John, I have been trading other techs. The volume today in EMC is quite light. Wonder what that is all about. I was concerned for EMC when I saw it down this morning, but it looks OK. Techs are good for a while after expiry. Best of luck.

Indead it was a nice move, but NOW is the time to look to buy, if you are a technician. :) It should test the old high before the next earnings report.

Looks like a breakout to me as well. I have only 2 concerns...that it was not followed by increased volume and I'm not sure it closed 3% above resistance to make it a true breakout....????
