I wonder whats going on behind the scenes we commoners don't know about....I work around Sable Island on the east coast of Canada....south of the shoal point well....Sable is a grassy sand island..170 miles offshore...about 25 X 1 mile in size...maybe 1.5 at the widest point.....wild ponies on it...varied wildlife...many shipwrecks....all kinds of research from wildlife to climate....no one allowed on....sort of a game preserve....Was a little drilling on the island in the 70's.....now it is banned.....All other exploration takes place in surrounding waters....But a group of large oil companies want permission to do seismic on the island....then any drilling would be done offshore in a directional manner....I hope they do not get permission to go on.....Why couldn't PSFD do their thing at their expense and approach the other guys and see if it matches the conventional seismic?...thats if their allowed on the island....Considering the cost...$12 a mile...You would think many firms would be trying it out when they do their conventional seismic anyway.....I wonder what Pancanadian thinks of SFD?...raisin
