Thanks, but please read the rules Tim established: Rule #1: no rumors unless you back 'em up.

MSGI and daytraders - I'm not smart enough to be a routine daytrader. Unless a screaming-jumping-up-and-down buy whacks me in the side of the head, I pass.

MSGI - apparently quadrupled after announcing an internet inititive, then promptly fell back just as hard. Now its rebounding. Looks like the momentum folks are playing with this. Not my style.

LPHL - Thanks again, but not in my lifetime. Online travel? There must be some mistake. This is what the LPHL Yahoo profile is:

"Leisureplanet Holdings was organized to acquire and operate South African companies. The Group is principally engaged in the
manufacture and sale of pastry related and other food products, plastic and metal outdoor leisure products, packaging machines, and
washers. For the nine months ended 3/31/99, revenues fell 3% to $82.8 million. Net loss totalled $12.2 million vs. an income of $3.5
million. Results reflect the sale of subsidiaries and $10.1 million in special charges."

Oh... and this outfit is based in Bermuda.

Change that to not in a million years.

Hi all. Thought I'd pop on to revisit my picks from June 17. MSGI was at around 23 now at 29. Still hasn't moved from SC to NM Nasdaq boards. I can't imagine it would be much longer. Also the very frequently rumored (as discussed earlier, CEO's claim and frequent board rumor) size doubling acquisition has still not occured. However a fair amount of other great news has come out including today's Datek account.
LPHL, was at about 4, now at 7. The beta sites on Yahoo have now become the real thing and other surprise news about an alliance with Infospace and Lexington has propelled the stock up nicely. I'm going to watch it closely the next couple days to see where it keeps heading as I had only been waiting on the Yahoo announcement.
Last week I picked up WPNE, White Pine software, the makers of CeeUCeeMe. Recent news announcements have created speculation of a possible buyout by AOL, MSFT and my own speculation about maybe Real Networks. I'll try to post specific reasons for this speculation shortly. I wanted to get in around the Friday before last and settled for 5.75 when I finally sold off another mover.
Good investing.
