meathead..i believe it was in a comment from dell two quarters ago that they were considering a one piece wintel version of the imac for the consumer market....don't you think if dell is serious about the consumer, they need to be a bit more visible, as in advertising...consumers know ibm,hwp,cpq,gtw....this is fact...not fiction...aapl better known to consumer...

so who makes up this "artistic community"...people who appreciate industrial design and packaging?...most consumers aren't the "pocket protector set" who with glee rip open their dell when the neighbor comes over and gets orgasmic over a mother board....

hasn't the lowly cell phone gained more desirability and portability thru packaging and design, i'm sure you don't carry around an old unit with a remote battery box....

every piece of consumer electronics has evolved with redesigned packaging, better ergonomics, except the big old ugly computer..

OT Calling all Lawyers

I just got a flyer in the mail that I've been included in a class action suit for 1Billion+ dollars against the Nasdaq Market Makers (For all who were trading between May 1, 1989 and July 17, 1996). Is this worth getting involved with? The market makers are despicable scum on par with used car salesmen but I made a bunch of dough so it would seem difficult to show much harm. Is this likely to return me a respectable wage for my time in filling out the forms, I guess I performed one or two dozen trades on Nasdaq in that period. (Just buy Dell and hang on).
