i closed my mbt account at the end of may. it was a hell of a decision, but i determined that i wasn't benefiting from the level2 feeds and the fast order executions. essentially, i had too much data at my fingertips, if you can believe that. additionally, i wasn't racking up enough trades to make the commission rate acceptable. i used to trade with waterhouse and never closed my account there. so i went back and i've had good trading luck since i returned to them. plus i like the $12 trips. my purpose for posting this is to say that as a departing member of mbt, i can say that they have been great people to be associated with. i'm not going to ramble on and on about who and why... just suffice it to say i left with a good impression. right at the end, i did have an issue with their company, the details of which are not important. what is worth mentioning is that steve demarest responded immediately, and resolved the issue to my satisfaction. i just wanted to get all that out. :) mark
