i think the battle for the white house is pretty irrelevant in 2000. The real battle is for the control of the
house and the senate. Those two houses alone will shape the future no matter who become President
next year.


Agreed...but only with respect to domestic issues, not foreign policy. One concern I have about both Bush and Gore is that I cannot see either of them as competent statesmen...as Chief of the World's Police Force, which it seems, regretably, we have become. Bradley, maybe. Elizabeth Dole, certainly. What do you think?
