Brad: Thanks for your great contributions to this thread. After doing some research on this company I boarded the DDEQ train this afternoon. IMO, if the company can deliver focussed e-commerce opportunities for the GoNow.com members, that would be very beneficial. Most web properties make money off advertising, sponsorships, subscriptions and e-commerce. The key is to partner effectively, drive traffic to your site, and deliver a great experience when people visit. Ideally you want "a sticky site" -- or one that people depend on and visit often (like AOL, Yahoo, SI, etc..).

I have high expectations for DDEQ's web initiatives. Lets hope management really executes -- and shares the IPO benefits with the LONG TERM shareholders <G>.

FYI...New IPO info. on GoTo.com...They have an interesting concept and some BIG backers...Here's the news:

GoTo.com's estimated IPO price range upped again

WASHINGTON, June 17 (Reuters) - The estimated price range for Internet search engine GoTo.com Inc.'s initial public offering of 5 million common shares was raised twice in one day to $14-15 per share from $13-14, the company said Thursday.

The company disclosed the latest price range in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Earlier in the day the IPO's lead underwriter, Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette, said the range was raised to $13-14 from $11-13.

The IPO is expected to begin trading on June 18.

The Pasadena, Calif.-based company matches consumers who search the Internet for keywords and terms to advertisers who have won an auction for priority placement in the results for those keywords.

Advertisers pay GoTo.com each time a consumer clicks on the their Web site listing.>>
